kaunas meeting

On  28th and 29th September, Enable Partnership met for the third transnational meeting in the welcoming city of Kaunas, just after the First Multiplier Event organized on the 27th  of September by the Partners from Kaunas, to disseminate the goals and the results of the Project.

During the meeting of  28th -29th  September, the eight Partners from Romania, Sweden, Italy and Lithuania presented the results of the second output, that is the methodological approach chosen to develop the identified career oriented soft skills in order to prevent ESL.

The Problem Based learning has been considered by the Partners as the most suitable strategy for education. Problem-based learning is a student-centered pedagogy in which students learn about a subject through the experience of solving an open-ended problem.

PBL provides problems within a context that closely resemble future professional, real-life problem cases, offered to motivate students to apply critical thinking, creativity and problem solving skills to practical situations.

Technology is the biggest difference between the present and the past generation: it provides more digital tools and outlets for creativity so that students will be better prepared for the future workforce and careers.Though students have different learning styles, most of them learn best by doing and technology offers great opportunities.

With the use of technology resources in daily classroom practice, learning activities can become easier and more engaging, and this is a great advantage, as the target of our pilot course will be at risk students, more demotivated or with learning difficulties.
